A sweeter, grapier tasting version of Caol Ila that has been finished in Moscatel wine casks. These seem to have added flavours of demerara sugar, white grapes, and some orange peel notes to the whisky. Don't worry there's still plenty of peat smoke too! This is part of Diageo's Distillers Edition range and was initially matured in American oak.
