Plantation Extremes Barbados 2007

One for the rum aficionados out there! This limited edition expression from Barbados joins Plantation's Extrême range of exquisite, rare bottlings from revered distilleries. Made from a combination of pot and column still rums, distilled in 2007 at the West Indies Rum Distillery. This rum spent 2 years in ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to Europe for an additional 10 years in 200L Bourbon casks and 2 years finishing in a single 350L Ferrand cask. Round and elegant on the palate with lemon peel, roasted coconut and almond with chocolate, tobacco, pepper and banana. and super rich on tropical fruits, mango, orange peel, passion fruit and vanilla with hints of anise and peach.
