From Wayward Irish Spirits comes a rather unique first in the form of Lakeview Single Estate Pot Still Whiskey! This whiskey was made with barley grown in Hilly Field by Lough Leane in Killarney. Distilled by GND Dundalk, this surprisingly smooth and complex whiskey is matured in a combination of premium casks (3 months ex bourbon, 40 months ex Premier Cru Bordeaux. 10% was finished in ex Peated cask for 3 months. Expect cherries on the nose, a rich honeyed taste with a hint of smoke and a long finish. This offering includes a 4cl complementary measure of Lakeview Single Estate Whiskey.
