The first release from the Lough Ree Distillery, Sling Shot Irish Gin. This gin has been created using four separate high quality distillates which are then blended together to make the final Sling Shot Gin. A classic gin style distillate, a citrus distillate, a fresh mint distillate and a peat distillate are the components in this gin, giving it spice, citrus flavour and a wonderful earthiness from the peat!

The citrus and mint give beautifully fresh top notes, the juniper and cardamom in particular add spice and boldness while the peat finishes it off with a wonderful earthiness and full mouthfeel.

Botanicals Used
Seven classic gin botanicals are used in their base recipe- Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Orris Root, along with Lemon Balm, Cardamom and Celery Seed. A Citrus distillate from fresh organic Oranges, Pink Grapefruit, Lemons and Limes; a fresh mint distillate and finally a distillate of local peat is added too.
