Lochlea Ploughing Edition 1st Crop
The fourth limited seasonal release single malt from Lochlea Distillery. This release is a celebration of the connection between Lochlea Farm and Robert Burns, who lived and worked on the farm from 1777 to 1784. This release is the first smoky whisky to come from the Ayrshire distillery. Matured in a combination of ex-Islay whisky barrels and peated quarter casks, the result is a warming, lightly peated character with notes of cooked apples, brazil nuts, boiled sweets and lingering peat smoke throughout the palate.
