Copeland 26.2 Release Double Distilled Peated Malt
Copeland 26.2 Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey is the first peated single malt release in the distillery’s 2026 series. Double distilled in traditional copper pot stills and crafted from a mash bill of 100% peated malted barley, this whiskey showcases a bold yet balanced expression of Irish peat.
Matured for a minimum of five years on the Ards Peninsula, it has been aged in a combination of first fill American bourbon casks, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and charred oak casks. This diverse cask influence brings layers of sweet vanilla, dried fruit, gentle spice and rich oak, complementing the distinctive smoky character of the spirit.
Bottled at 46% ABV, Copeland 26.2 delivers a smooth and complex drinking experience, with notes of peat smoke, dark fruits, caramelised sweetness and warming oak on a long, satisfying finish.
