Copeland 26.2 Cask Strength Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a limited edition release showcasing the distillery’s first peated single malt expression in its 2026 series. Crafted from 100% peated malted barley and double distilled in traditional copper pot stills, this whiskey delivers an intense and characterful interpretation of Irish peat.
Matured for a minimum of five years on the Ards Peninsula, it has been aged in a combination of first fill American bourbon casks, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and charred oak casks. The marriage of these casks creates layers of rich smoke, dark fruit, sweet vanilla, warming spice and toasted oak.
Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.6% ABV, this unfiltered expression offers exceptional depth, texture and complexity. Non chill filtered and presented in its natural colour, it retains the full character of the whiskey as it came from the cask.
With only 180 bottles released, Copeland 26.2 Cask Strength Peated Single Malt is a rare and powerful whiskey, delivering a long and rewarding finish packed with peat smoke, dried fruits and rich oak spice.
