Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green
Nose Honeyed and fruity on the nose with aromas of vanilla, grape juice, fresh oak, ginger snaps, lemon and pineapple.
Palate Mouth-filling and satisfyingly rich. A suggestion of sweetness and a fruit laden palate with flavours of citrus peel, honey, sultanas, apricots, pineapple and caramel toffees. Perfect at full strength.
Colour Pale gold.

Types of Barrel used for Aging Initial maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels followed by a finishing period in 350 litre ex-Pineau Des Charentes.
