Made using the same chilli pepper variety as the standard Ancho Reyes, but for the Verde expression the fruit is harvested earlier. As you would expect this one is less-smoky hot and more 'green' and herbal tasting with a good bit of chilli heat. Perhap a tough one to drink straight but it works wonders with vodka, tequila and mezcal based cocktails.
