Gosling's Black Seal is a Bermudian dark rum, made from a blend of pot still and column distilled rum aged in American oak barrels, blended and bottled in Bermuda. The molasses rich, caramel, vanilla, and dark spice character is the defining flavour of the Dark and Stormy cocktail, of which Goslings holds a registered trademark in Bermuda. A Dark and Stormy served with any rum other than Goslings cannot legally be called a Dark and Stormy under Bermudian trademark law.
