Knappogue Castle 2000 Single Malt Marsala Cask Edition 2

This was initially matured in an ex-Bourbon cask and was then finished in a Marsala barrel from Marco di Bartoli in Sicily. The Knappogue Castle Single Cask Series was made in conjunction with us here at the Celtic Whiskey Shop, with each finishing barrel being sourced from some of the wine companies that we work closely with.

Marco di Bartoli make some of Sicily's finest wines and are well known for their fine Marsalas. We always thought that Irish whiskey would mature well in their barrels, but we even surprised ourselves at the results with this one.

This comes packaged with a wooden gift box.
