A very unique expression for fans of rum. Matured for 9 years in ex-bourbon barrels under tropical conditions in Guyana, resulting in a very elegant rum. The nose bursts out of the gate with cinnamon, cloves and citrus notes. The palate contains more spices, adding nuttier flavours of walnuts and roasted peanuts to the party. The finish is relatively unchanged but layers some menthol and sea salt towards the end.
