A mildly smoky whisky from Suntory’s Hakushu distillery, the Distiller's Reserve is a replacement for the much loved Hakushu 12 Year Old. This is made in the same fashion as a Scottish single malt and is drawn from whiskies aged up to 18 years old in American oak barrels. Lots of zesty fruit flavours with a touch of smoke and youthful, herbal notes.

FAQs
No. Suntory Whisky is Japanese, produced at distilleries including Yamazaki and Hakushu in Japan. Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii and master distiller Masataka Taketsuru studied Scotch production methods in the early 20th century and modelled the initial Japanese whisky industry on the Scotch model, which explains the stylistic similarities. However, Suntory Whisky is legally and geographically Japanese, produced in Japan under Japanese regulations, and carries no Scotch designation or Scottish production connection.
