Flynns Blended Irish Whiskey is a smooth, characterful tribute to Paddy Flynn, a well-known postman, community figure, and the inspiration behind the brand. Created in his memory, this blend reflects his appreciation for classic Irish whiskey styles that are gentle, approachable, and fruit-forward. The ‘PF’ on each bottle serves as a nod to his legacy and connection to Paddy Flynn’s Pub in Cloghan, County Offaly.
Crafted using a combination of malt whiskey made from 100% barley and grain whiskey, this expression is triple distilled for clarity and smoothness. It is initially matured in American bourbon casks, developing soft vanilla sweetness and rounded oak character, before being finished in rum casks. This final stage imparts subtle tropical notes and a delicate layer of spice, adding depth while maintaining balance.
Produced in small batches at the Great Northern Distillery under the guidance of John Teeling, Flynns Blended Irish Whiskey delivers a light, fruity, and versatile style. It is smooth enough to be enjoyed neat, while offering enough character to enhance classic whiskey cocktails.
Ideal for both new and seasoned whiskey drinkers, this is a modern Irish blend rooted in tradition, with a subtle contemporary twist.

FAQs
Yes. The majority of Irish whiskey sold globally is blended, typically combining single malt, single grain, and often single pot still components in varying proportions. Jameson, Bushmills Original, and Powers Gold Label are all blends. The blended category accounts for the bulk of Ireland's whiskey production volume. Single malt and single pot still expressions represent a growing but still minority share of the overall Irish whiskey market.
Blended Irish whiskey is a legally defined category under Irish Whiskey Technical File regulations, comprising a combination of at least two different Irish whiskey styles, typically single malt, single grain, and or single pot still, produced in Ireland and aged for a minimum of three years in wooden casks on the island of Ireland. The blending of styles allows distillers to create consistent, accessible flavour profiles at scale.
