Inspired by the illustrious island of Madeira, this very special release in the Connoisseur Collection by Hinch Distillery was aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon casks before it spent the next six months in ex-Madeira wine casks. This secondary ageing in casks, previously home to these revered wines, imparts a kaleidoscope of flavours to our whiskey, adding notes such as warming wood spices and stewed peaches.

Aromas (without water) Warming wood spices & candied orange peel at the fore with subtle undertones of chocolate orange & sandalwood.
Flavour Orange marmalade, stewed peaches, buttered toast smothered in chopped hazelnut and chocolate praline.
