Introducing this incredible 2010-vintage Venezuelan rum from Plantation! This rum began its journey with a maturation period of eight years in ex-bourbon barrels in Destiloeria Sofa's cellars. The 22 barrels selected then made the sea voyage to Javrezac, in France's Charente region, where the rum spent a further four years in Ferrand French oak casks. The result is a palate of spicy and woody flavors with notes of peanuts, tobacco, almond, oak, pepper with crème brûlée, pineapple and dried banana.
