Yes. Teeling Whiskey is distilled from malted barley and grain at Teeling Distillery in the Liberties, Dublin. The distillation process removes gluten proteins from the grain derived wash to below detectable levels. Teeling is considered gluten free under current food safety standards. As with all grain distilled spirits, individuals with clinically diagnosed coeliac disease are advised to consult their medical advisor before consuming.
Teeling Whiskey is produced at Teeling Distillery in the Liberties neighbourhood of Dublin city, which opened in 2015 as the first new whiskey distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. The distillery is located on Newmarket Square in the Coombe, the historic heart of Dublin's traditional distilling quarter. Teeling uses three custom built copper pot stills and produces single grain, single malt, and small batch expressions from its Dublin facility.

Teeling Whiskey is owned by the Teeling family, specifically brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling, who founded the company in 2012 following the sale of Cooley Distillery (their father John Teeling's business) to Beam Suntory. The Teeling brothers opened their Dublin distillery in 2015. The company has remained privately and family owned, which is an increasingly significant point of distinction in an Irish whiskey industry where many brands are now owned by large international spirits conglomerates.
