Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Lots of dried fruit and milk chocolate notes. Aromas of dates, sultanas, leather, orange oil and salted nuts. |
Palate | Silky and mouth-filling. A nice mix of savoury and fruit flavours. Salted nuts, biltong, sultanas, dates and sea salted milk chocolate. |
Finish | Incredible evolution on the palate for such a youthful whisky. Mature and complete tasting with only a slight bit of woodiness/oak tannin. Like the bourbon edition of this series, this also needs water to calm the alcohol and release the flavours. |
