P&H Egan were a famous old company based in Tullamore where their business was bottling wine and whiskey for the domestic market. The company has now been revived by the descendants of the original founders. This is their first bottling to bear the Egan name and it is a 10 year old single malt, bottled at 47% and non chill-filtered.

Nose
Lively and fresh with characters typically found in Bourbon cask matured whiskeys. Aromas of pineapple, coconut, vanilla, ginger snaps, baked apples and freshly baked cookies.
Palate
Assertive and fruity to taste and surprisingly easy to drink at full strength. Medium bodied and powerful with pronounced fruit flavours of pineapple, ripe red apples, mango, banana becoming spicy and oaky towards the finish.
Finish
Ginger, vanilla and coconut with some oak and wood sap notes.
