Andeluna Altitud Malbec
Andeluna is a small boutique winery specialising in premium Bordeaux varietals of world class recognition. Their estate owned vineyards are located in the higher altitude vineyards of Tupungato, one of the best subregions of Mendoza. Their wines are under the special care of winemaker Silvio Alberto along with the expert help of French specialist and wine guru, Michel Rolland. This estate is one of the rising stars of Argentina. The Altitud range is their reserve level and this malbec was aged in French oak for 12 months.

Making Techniques | Berries are selected by hand before vinication. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures. Fermentation by means of selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at temperatures maintained at around 26°C (78°F). Pumping over is carried out three times a day as well as one or two delestages. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, followed by at least 8 months in bottle before release. |
