Garden County Irish Whiskey Spain Release 1.1 Wine Series

Garden County Irish Whiskey Spain Release 1.1 is the inaugural bottling in a new series dedicated to exploring the influence of Europe’s great fortified wine casks on Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.

This first release showcases the rich character imparted by Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bringing exceptional depth, dark sweetness, and layered complexity to the whiskey. Matured initially in bourbon casks before undergoing PX sherry cask finishing, the whiskey develops luxurious notes of dried fruits, sultanas, caramel, dark sweetness, and warming spice balanced by the signature texture and spice of Irish pot still whiskey.

Crafted in Ireland and bottled at a powerful 55% ABV, this release captures both traditional Irish whiskey character and the rich influence of Spanish fortified wine maturation.

The presentation also celebrates local creativity through the inclusion of “Just a Few Drops” by artist Kevin Roche on the label. Inspired by the colours, atmosphere, and mood of the whiskey itself, the artwork depicts a dramatic Wicklow landscape that reflects the identity and spirit of Garden County Irish Whiskey.

Bold, expressive, and highly limited, Spain Release 1.1 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Garden County’s Wine Series.
