La Nerthe Granieres Rouge Chateauneuf du Pape

Les Granières de La Nerthe offers a lively, approachable expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, crafted by the historic Château La Nerthe estate, owned by the Richard family. Taking its name from the old granary once used to store crops at the château, this cuvée reflects both the region’s agricultural past and a modern focus on elegance in winemaking.

Produced from the estate’s younger vines, the blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre showcases vibrant fruit, refined structure and the hallmark finesse for which La Nerthe is known. Ageing takes place in traditional large oak casks and older French oak foudres, with no new oak used, allowing purity of fruit to shine. The wine is bottled earlier than the domaine’s flagship Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge to preserve its expressive character and supple tannins.

The result is a fresh, aromatic and beautifully balanced Rhône red that can be enjoyed from release, offering the spirit of one of the region’s most celebrated estates in an accessible and charming style.
