Château La Nerthe is one of the most renowned estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with an extremely old history tracing back to 1750. The 92 hectares of vines are managed organically, without chemical fertilizers, weedkillers or synthetic pesticides. The nose immediately reveals black cherry and kirsch, enhanced with sweet spices (cinnamon and sandalwood). Red fruits dominate with some notes of garrigue. The wine is supple, suave, with a round and pleasant texture on the palate.
