Taittinger Brut Vintage 2016
With roots dating back to 1734, Taittinger is one of Champagne’s great houses and among the last major producers still family-owned. Renowned for its Chardonnay-driven style, the estate owns 288 hectares of vineyards and has been recognised for its commitment to sustainability with the Viticulture Durable en Champagne and Haute Valeur Environnementale accreditations.
Taittinger only produces a vintage champagne in years of exceptional harvests. Brut Vintage is crafted exclusively from the first pressing of the grapes and aged for four years in the cellars to achieve refined complexity and length. The blend combines Chardonnay from the Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs with Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus of the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, resulting in a champagne of elegance, balance, and depth.
