La Bota 102 Palo Cortado “florpower mmx”

A single vintage, single vineyard wine from Equipo Navazos that has been specially created to demonstrate the greatness of Palo Cortado wines. The grapes were all harvested in 2010 and came from a single site that had plots of 50+ and 80+ year old vines. The wines were aged in Sherry butts and Barriques which have very high fill levels maintained to avoid excessive oxidation. Of course, this is above all and oxidised wine but with a distinct yet subtle biological character from minimal layers of flor. This delight of a wine pairs very well with any Asian inspired food.
