Arran Signature Series Edition 3 ‘Duero Discovery’ is the third release in the distillery’s acclaimed collection curated by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman. This 12-year-old unpeated single malt explores the influence of high-quality red wine casks sourced from Spain’s Duero River region.

The whisky began its life in first and second fill bourbon barrels for six years before being transferred to first fill Spanish red wine casks for a further six years of maturation in the distillery’s dunnage warehouse. The result is a rich, ruby-amber spirit showcasing layers of red fruit, oak spice, and soft vanilla.

A distinctive and beautifully balanced Arran expression, Duero Discovery highlights the artistry of cask selection and the depth that exceptional wine casks can bring to this island single malt.
