Here at Celtic Whiskey we are in the exciting position to be working with the best distilleries that Ireland has to offer and in the last year alone, we have launched several exclusives that our team (headed by Ally Alpine our Managing Director) have had a hand in creating . These fine whiskeys include the Redbreast 16 Year Old All Sherry Cask, The Whistler PX I Love You 9 Year Old, Dunville’s 19 Year Old Madeira Cask, Teeling Single Pot Still Cask 29842 and The Whistler Palo Cortado Single Cask.
Most recently at the weekend of Whiskey Live Dublin, June 2022 at the RDS in Dublin, the Celtic Whiskey Team had the pleasure of launching our latest Powers single cask- Powers 15 Year Old Single Pot Still Cask 10099. Following on from the success of our series of Powers exclusives, this single cask collaboration was carefully hand-selected from amongst the finest barrels in the Midleton Distillery. Powers' is renowned for having Pot Still distillate at its heart and this limited-edition whiskey is no exception. Matured exclusively in a first fill American bourbon barrel this single cask has a velvety smooth mouthfeel, the quintessential pot still spice, and plenty of sweet fruity notes to shine through.

Nose
Stewed fruit notes with baked apples and apricots with additional notes of old leather layered over toasted oaks with hints of fresh wood resin.
Palate
Robust pot still spices working in tandem with the sweet fruit contribution of apricots and peaches creating both balance and complexity
Finish
Rich and long with the pot still spice lingering until the very end
