We’re proud to introduce our latest exclusive in collaboration with Boann Distillery - Boann The Cask Vintage Mashbill Oloroso Hogshead.
The Vintage Mashbill was inspired by an iconic historical powerhouse distillery that no longer exists in Dublin.
This is Single Cask #1, drawn from an Oloroso Hogshead filled on 12.12.20 and bottled at a commanding 60.6% ABV. Just 246 bottles exist.
Crafted from Boann’s distinctive vintage mashbill of Malt 50% - unmalted 30% - oats 20% - wheat 0% - Rye 0%, this whiskey is all about texture, depth and character.
Matured fully in an Oloroso Hogshead, the cask influence shines through with rich dried fruits, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and warming spice layered over a full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel. Bottled at natural cask strength, it is bold yet beautifully balanced, with complexity that continues to unfold in the glass.
