It is an old, strong, and unique grape variety with much character, superbly illustrated in this rich and intense Petit Verdot wine from Quinta do Noval. Smooth and concentrated with ripe tannins and a long finish, this is a charming wine to pair with roast beef, a lamb stew or cured meat, and cheese.
