Drumshanbo Oloroso Sherry Cask Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a rich and characterful expression from The Shed Distillery, showcasing the distinctive style of Irish single pot still whiskey. Crafted from a mash bill of malted and unmalted Irish barley alongside uniquely Irish Barra oats, every drop is triple distilled to create exceptional depth and smoothness.

Matured since 2018 in carefully selected Oloroso Sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain, this whiskey benefits from the influence of casks that previously held richly flavoured sherry wines. The result is a beautifully balanced whiskey where the creamy texture of Irish pot still spirit meets layers of dried fruit, spice and oak.

The nose offers inviting aromas of summer berries, pomegranate, melting toffee, cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, notes of custard tart, candied fruits and toasted oak are complemented by the rich character of Oloroso sherry and a touch of fresh apple. The finish is long and satisfying, with the creamy influence of Irish oats combining with warming clove and cinnamon spice.

Bottled at 43% ABV, this whiskey is non chill filtered and contains no added colouring, allowing the full character of the spirit and cask maturation to shine through.
