The absence of a formal age statement gives the master blender flexibility to select the most expressive casks regardless of specific maturation period. Green Spot is one of the defining expressions of the single pot still style and has maintained exceptional quality consistency across multiple releases.

Green Spot is distilled at Midleton Distillery, County Cork, by Irish Distillers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. The brand is owned and managed by Mitchell and Son Wine Merchants of Dublin, one of the oldest established wine and spirits merchants in Ireland, who have maintained the Green Spot brand since the 19th century when they originally used the label to identify maturing casks at the old Jameson Bow Street Distillery in Dublin.
