Killowen Dark Rum

Crafted using a traditional thumper keg and inspired by the time-honoured Solera blending method, this small batch dark rum delivers exceptional depth and complexity.
Distilled from a combination of sugar and blackstrap molasses before undergoing a unique triple-cask solera maturation, the rum develops layers of coconut, vanilla, figs, prunes and raisins, balanced by the rich influence of PX sherry and dark rum casks.
Using the classic Solera system, spirit is gradually moved through a series of stacked casks, allowing younger rum to mingle with older stocks and build remarkable character over time. The result is a rich, smooth and beautifully rounded rum with the perfect touch of Caribbean warmth.
