La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza 2019 Reserva
The new Viña Ardanza 2019 stays true to its iconic style, crafted from a signature blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha. The Tempranillo comes from estate-owned vineyards over 30 years old in Fuenmayor and Cenicero in Rioja Alta, while the Garnacha is sourced from the La Pedriza estate in Tudelilla, Rioja Oriental. Planted at 550 meters above sea level, these vines have now reached perfect maturity, producing grapes of outstanding quality.
Aged with meticulous care in handcrafted American oak barrels, the Tempranillo spends 36 months maturing while the Garnacha rests for 30 months. Both undergo five manual rackings by candlelight, a traditional method that ensures exceptional clarity and character. The result is a Rioja of remarkable depth, elegance and purity that reflects the heritage and craftsmanship of Viña Ardanza.
