Celtic Cask Daichead a Cúig (45) 2002 Oloroso Finish
Celtic Cask Daichead a cúig (45) was double distilled and first aged in a first fill bourbon cask. In 2015, we sourced a number of 53 litre oloroso & pedro ximenez casks from a very old cooperage in Jerez. All the pedro ximenez finished casks have been previously released and this is one of the very last oloroso casks. (We are re-using these casks, so other releases in the years ahead). Given the size of the sherry casks, some make a very quick impact but this particular oloroso cask was a slower burner and took 7 years before we decided it had reached a perfect time to bottle. There are only 57 bottles, so they won’t last long. It’s bottled at cask strength with no added colouring.
This is available for pre-order now. Stock arriving the 1st week of June.
