Robert Parker 90 Points | 2009 Vintage. 'The 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Mourre des Perdrix, which emerges from a specific vineyard, comes across as almost Burgundian with its floral, raspberry, blueberry and sweet and sour cherry notes. This elegant, medium bodied wine, which is generally aged in fourdes and occassionally smaller oak barrels, has the most delicacy and finesse of the portfolio and should drink well for a decade.' |
Robert Parker 93 Points | 2010 Vintage. 'The opaque ruby/purple-colored 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Mourre des Perdrix exhibits classic notes of raspberries, plums and cherries. Heady with a more streamlined style than the other 2010s, it is elegant, pure and precise, veering toward a more Pinot Noir-like style than the other Chateauneuf du Pape cuvees.' |
