Glendalough Summer Gin
For this gin local botanicals were foraged from the area around Glendalough and were combined with traditional gin aromatics before being distilled together in the company's small copper still. For this batch the following botanicals have been used. Juniper, corriander seeds, lemon peel, angelica root, licorice root, bitter almond, orris root, darred malt, ceylon cinnamon, ginger, all spice, elderflower, lemon balm, pine shoots, blackberry flowers, blackberry leaves, orange flowers, hop flowers, wild rose, wild raspberries, wild raspberry leaves, clover flowers, meadowsweet and fraughan berries.

Aromas (without water) | The nose is that of a meadow in bloom. Elderflower and primrose under pin fresh citrus and ripe green apples. |
Flavour | The taste is robust and powerful with a warming, growing sweetness – honey dew melon and strawberry, earthy mid notes followed by spice with zesty citrus keeping it fresh throughout. |
