Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Lots of toasty oak on the nose with aromas of pencil lead, minerals, black cherries and warm spices. |
Palate | On the palate it is dry, medium-full bodied with firm tannins and good balancing acidity. Shows some nice cherry and cassis fruit with some herbal/minty touches, then becomes more spicy with some cedar/woody notes on the finish. |
Colour | Dark ruby in colour with a pink rim. |
