Nose | Intense aromas of cherry, black currant, cassis and vanilla |
Palate | On the palate it is firm but silky, with great body and length and good roundness and elegance. Intense aromas of cherry, black currant, cassis and vanilla with notes of cherry liqueur and dark chocolate combine with lush flavours of raspberries, spices, chocolate and anise that complement the sweet tannins and produce an exceptional wine with intense fruit notes and a long finish. Serve at 16°C. Suitable for ageing. |

Making Techniques | Berries are selected by hand before vinification. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures. Fermentation by means of selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at temperatures maintained at around 26°C. Pumping over is carried out three times a day as well as one or two delestage. The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for a period of 6 months, followed by at least 6 months in bottle before release. |
