Dailuaine

Built in 1852 by William Mackenzie and rebuilt between 1884 and 1887. Dailuaine was one of the first distilleries to get the 'Charles Doig' treatment when he designed one of his famous pagoda roofs for the maltings. Despite being a fantastic malt it is rarely seen in single form with just the Flora and Fauna 16 year old being the only semi-official release. Other versions are available occasionally from independent bottlers. The distillery has six pot stills and is owned by Diageo.
