Mr L's Pornstar Martini

The Pornstar Martini is consumed by sipping the cocktail first, then chasing with the accompanying shot of Champagne or Prosecco rather than pouring the sparkling wine into the glass. The effervescence and dry acidity of the sparkling wine provide the counterpoint to the vanilla vodka, passion fruit puree, and Passoa sweetness of the cocktail. Adding the sparkling wine directly to the glass creates a flat, poorly balanced drink and defeats the purpose of the two component serve.
