Comber Distillery

There were once two distilleries in Comber called 'Upper' and 'Lower' it was the upper distillery that survived the longest but even it finally closed in 1953. It produced an old style of heavy pot still whiskey and we quite regularly get examples of the very last bottling made in the 1980s at 30 years old.
