Macon Villages Clos Saint Pancras 2020
This excellent Macon Villages comes from a very steep east facing organically farmed vineyard with stony chalky soils, above the village of Saint Aubain east of Clessé. This Chardonnay was then aged for 9 months in a mix of old oak casks and cuves. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant with lovely red apple fruit peach and brioche notes with a mineral core and real length.
